How to drink it:
For the tart lovers, go straight up. For those who like their ginger a little gentler, mix 25ml with 125ml soda water, tonic, or sparkling water. Add a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary, and you’re good to go.
Tasting Notes

Expect a lively hit of ginger heat, balanced by the tangy brightness of apple cider vinegar. Blossom honey brings a subtle sweetness, while a gentle chilli warmth lingers on the finish. Vibrant, bold, and unapologetically flavourful.

Founder Bethan spent 10 years working in the wine and luxury spirits industry before her first pregnancy revealed the gap in the market. Missing the acidity, length, and depth of wine, she turned to switchels—apple cider vinegar-based drinks—and began crafting her own.

Two years of development later, Bethan created a range of alcohol-free aperitifs that take inspiration from traditional wine-making techniques like maceration and blending, but with a modern twist. By using apple cider vinegar and fresh, natural ingredients, Mother Root delivers bold, complex flavours that make you feel as good as they taste.
